The contest is open to anyone, anywhere in the world, and will run for exactly one month (March 1-31, 2015). Professional photographer Sam Diephuis, whose photo is featured here, will assess all the entries and determine a winner. He lived in a Jamaican orphanage for six months to fit in and photograph the ins and outs of the reggae world. He’s also been known to use himself as a guinea pig, most recently photographing himself for 365 days of meditation. This summer, Sam will tour through Eastern Europe to capture fourteen different cultures— on a bicycle! In addition to his personal projects, Sam has shot for some of the largest editorial and advertising clients in the business. When not shooting photos, Sam listens to WAY too many podcasts from his home in southern California.
