- A business must maintain an overall rating of 4 or higher (out of 5) from traveller reviews.
- Additional criteria include the volume of reviews received within the last 12 months.

Hotel Mockingbird Hill was one of the first four hotels worldwide to be certified by Green Globe as an environmentally and socially friendly property, and is now the first hotel in Jamaica to have a carbon offsetting program.
