Instead of us telling you about Mocking Bird’s achievements we thought we’d let our wonderful guests do the talking, sharing their experiences at the hotel which were sent in for the competition to celebrate our 20th anniversary.

Home – While our honeymoon was an opportunity to get away from our everyday lives, the moment we stepped foot on your property we felt like we were home. I think this is perhaps the greatest compliment we can extend to you and your entire staff.
Inspirational – From the hospitality extended by you and your staff, to the exquisite food we ate every day, to the beautiful accommodations and surrounding property, every moment spent with you was truly inspirational.
Heavenly – As much as it felt like home, spending a week with you truly felt like being in our very own spot in heaven! And when we had our roof top honeymoon dinner and could see all the way to the beautiful water, both of us truly felt like we could touch that place.

I remember the very individual philosophy of your hotel being friendly to our Mother Earth and caring for ecological sustainability. This is a concept I’m looking to support in any matter where nature is involved. We only have one mother. Next week I’m travelling back to JA after eleven years together with my girlfriend. I think Port Antonio is one of the few places on earth that can claim to depict paradise. And your hotel lies within this oasis of virgin nature and the dreamy ocean providing best food with a minimized carbon fingerprint. How Did We Celebrate the Day?
We created a partnership with the School of Hope in Port Antonio. This is a special school with very special children who each have a disability. The Hotel Mocking Bird team took a Giving Tree to the school and in exchange for a stocking the children wrote their wishes, hopefully we will try and make us many come true. The school’s staff with our gardening team bought a tree for each pupil at the school to nurture and help grow.
